Team Virtual Public Meeting October 11

Join the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) for a virtual WebEx meeting hosted by the Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10 a.m.

Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) members and OCR staff will provide an update on projects currently underway and/or planned to address community needs.

This month’s guest speaker Patrice Schroeder, M.A. Human Behavior, Community Relations Specialist with 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, will be in attendance to talk about 211 services. In times of crisis or for every day needs, 211 is available to help people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with important resources that include: food assistance, healthcare, mental health providers, utility assistance, eviction/foreclosure prevention, growth and development screenings for children, special needs services, senior programs and daily calls, caregiver support, MYFLVET peer-to-peer support for veterans/military and family, and more. 211 also provides Crisis Support 24/7. People can dial 2-1-1 or the new 9-8-8. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline has rebranded to “988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline”, 211’s highly trained, and caring staff will continue to be the frontline responder for crisis calls from both 2-1-1 and the 9-8-8 number. 211 has also launched a First Responders Crisis Line and has expanded other services to meet the needs of the community.
