To enroll in Florida schools, a child must be five years old by September 1 to enter kindergarten of the current school year. For those students who transfer into the district from schools outside of the state of Florida, the district honors the entry age of those states.
Requirements for first-time enrollment:
- A birth certificate
- A copy of the child's last report card
- Current proof of physical examnination
- Proof of residency
- Up-to-date immunization records
